If you are curious about NLP and hypnosis, especially as applied to stuttering, my new book Letting Go of the Dragon will answer your questions and give you hope. In this book I share my story of gaining fluency from stuttering and explain how NLP and hypnosis can help change your thinking and as a result, change your speech.
There was time, I stuttered so badly, I experienced pain and embarrassment every time I had to speak. I didn’t liberate my speech overnight. It was quite a journey. But thanks to the magical mind tools, it turned out to be quite an exciting adventure.
It was a great honor for me, when Dr. Richard Bandler, my mentor and a co-creator of NLP, personally signed my book. His handwriting is a bit difficult to read, so i will tell you what it says. It says, “Anna is the best.” When I started my journey of overcoming stuttering and just started to learn about NLP, I couldn’t even imagine that one day I will be shaking hands with Dr. Richard Bandler and see his autograph on my book. Life is magical, when you become determined to face your dragons.
Would you like to turn your life into an exciting adventure as you learn to let go of your dragon? Would you like to be able to have fun at the same time? Would you like to learn how to achieve flow and ease not only in your speech, but in life as well? Would you like to discover how to speak from your heart and influence people? If you feel you are tired of struggle, welcome to the journey. Your life will never be the same.

“You’re going to find this book a real eye-opener. It will shift you into a different way of thinking about the struggle of speaking in front of others. And it will answer most if not all your questions about one of the most stubborn and persistent problems that mankind has wrestled with over the millennia.”John Harrison, Author of Redefining Stuttering“Drawing heavily upon her own professional experience, Anna suggests ways in which observing our beliefs and perceptions can enable us to arrive at the “zone” and reach a higher level of effortless productivity and self-understanding. The result is a book that shows us how to embrace reality and achieve serenity and satisfaction in our lives. I love this book.”Ruth Mead, Author of Speech Is a RiverThis is a great book and highly recommended for anyone who has issues with expressing themselves. Anna draws on a wealth of experience to provide a clear and compelling guide to enable you to tackle your problem one step at a time. She explains, using loads of stories to illustrate the point, why we do what we do and how it is possible not only to change, but to have fun doing so. I enjoyed this book so much, and found it so useful, that when it arrived I read it, got to the end and immediately read it again. Having not read it for a few weeks, I am now about to read it for the third time!

This is definitely a must read for anyone wanting to achieve greater freedom in their public speaking. That being said, it is also a truly beautiful book that will inspire all to believe in themselves and their dreams regardless of their goals. Ms. Margolina has expertly woven her personal journey in transforming her struggles with stuttering that began as a child to becoming an award-winning public speaker. Her heart-felt stories wind through the tears and struggles of facing what seemed like an insurmountable obstacle into the joys and satisfaction of overcoming. The author’s humor and authenticity on every page will entice you from the first few sentences and leave you wanting more even after the last page. Definitely a treasure for any library!
